Kim Victoria Cattrall was born in 1956 on the 21st August. Canadian born, British-born, she is best known for playing Samantha Jones (also called Samantha Jones) in the HBO TV series Sex and the City. She reprised her role as the lead in the Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Her acting career began when she became a fashion designer in Skane. She went on to win in the Miss Sweden contest. When she moved in the US she started acting in several movies, playing small roles. In the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as the role of a Venusian. The following year following her appearance as a newcomer for the film Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
